Cardamom Chocolate Sauce
Ingredients:
¾ cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon cardamom pods
½ cup Sipping Chocolate
Directions:
Bring the cream to a boil in a heavy saucepan. Bruise the cardamom pods and add to the boiling cream. Remove from heat, place a lid on the saucepan and steep in the cream for 5 minutes. Bring the cream back to a boil. Strain the cream (to remove cardamom pods) over the Sipping Chocolate. Mix well. Serve either warm or at room temperature and enjoy on ice cream or as a fruit dipping sauce.
Iced-Mocha
Ingredients:
1 cup homogenized milk
¾ cup brewed coffee (warm)
½ cup ice
3 tablespoons Sipping Chocolate
Optional: sweeten with sugar
Directions:
Make a chocolate paste by adding 3 tablespoons of each milk and Sipping Chocolate into a cup, and microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir. Add remaining milk and microwave for another 45 seconds. Put ice, coffee and chocolate paste in a blender. Blend well. Pour into a glass, add a few ice cubes and enjoy!
Mayan Hot Chocolate (spicy)
Ingredients:
¾ cup homogenized milk
½ teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon honey
½ fresh red chilli pepper (scored and seeds removed)
3 tablespoons Sipping Chocolate
Pinch of salt
Directions:
Make a paste by adding 3 tablespoons of milk, cinnamon, honey and Sipping Chocolate into a cup, and microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir. Add remaining milk and the chilli piece. Microwave for another 30 seconds (or until desired temperature is reached). Stir well. Remove chilli piece. Add a pinch of salt for the final touch!
Optional: Add a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with Sipping Chocolate & cayenne powder.
