Position Details
Location: 406 Kaska Road, Sherwood Park, T8A 4G8
Department: Packaging
Reports To: Packaging Lead
Shift: 8am-4pm from Tuesday to Saturday, 40 hours per week
Number of Positions: 2
Contract Length: September 2026 – April 2027, 7 months, with possibility of extension
What you’ll do
Packaging Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the timely and accurate packaging of all products in accordance with internal specifications, processes and procedures.
- Create packaging work orders in the ERP System (Wherefour).
- Review, validate and close out packaging work orders in the ERP system (Wherefour).
- Put away packaged products in accordance with SOP - Storage Procedure.
- Complete daily cleaning procedure.
- Use various packaging equipment (flow-wrapper, sealing machines, label printers, automated hoppers, etc.) to complete packaging activities.
- Assist in the cycle counting of select items per the Cycle Count Procedure and schedule (at least weekly).
- Assist in bonbon count and merge per the Bonbon Management Procedure.
- Assist the fulfillment team when needed
- Flexibility to work extended hours, which may include some evenings and weekends, only during peak seasons (Valentine's, Easter, Christmas)
